Tinderbox Kitchen is located in the bustling James Street precinct in Fortitude Valley adjacent to the Palace Centro cinemas. It is a unique and vibrant restaurant which focuses on showcasing local produce and products. It is renowned for delicious authentic wood fired pizzas which are individually created from hand-formed dough and premium ingredients. The restaurant was looking for a simple but effective solution to control sun throughout the day and keep patrons comfortable. Vanguard installed a motorised straight drop awning with steel clips at the base to secure during windy conditions. The awning provides shade for the majority of the external outdoor dining area during the day and can be retracted at night.
